Hipster Ipsum for Coda

Updated for Coda 2!

Hipster Ipsum for Coda is a plugin for Coda designed to retrieve text from the HipsterJesus API and place it in a page. Need a few paragraphs of text in a mockup? No problem. It’s a great tool for quick, easy content with a little humor.

To use, place your cursor at the desired location and type the number of paragraphs of Hipster Ipsum you’d like (1-99). Then select the number and choose either Hipster Latin or Hipster Centric from the Hipster Ipsum menu. Hipster Ipsum will replace the selected text with the chosen number of paragraphs. If you do not make a selection or select something other than a number from 1-99, Hipster Ipsum for Coda will return one paragraph, replacing the currently selected text.

This plugin is released under the GPL v3 license, and the project is located at GitHub. Fork, iterate, release. Have fun!

Thanks to Ian Van Ness for the HipsterJesus API and Jason Cosper for Hipster Ipsum.

Righteous! I believe this is the first documented public use/plugin of/for the HipsterJesus API! Thanks!

I was bored with Lorem Ipsum! Someone tweeted a link to Jason’s site, and the following Saturday morning, I spent a couple of hours throwing this together and open sourcing it. Thanks for your work on this API and for the mention on your page – hopefully it will inspire other developers to create something useful and fun!

Nearly twice as hip as I myself. Thanks, indeed!
